    Whenever I'm in Jacksonville this is the BREAKFAST PLACE!!!!! The food is amazing every time all the time!!!!!

    The staff is amazing and very helpful. You'll never need to ask for a refill. The owner or manager is a very nice gentleman who stops by and checked on myself and my operations manager when we have our morning meeting.

    The shrimp and grits is MIND BLOWING!!! The portions are full sized and I've never been let down all dozen times I've been here.
      I bring backup to every meal that I have here. I joyfully struggle to get to the worlds best waffles!

    Had breakfast for the first time here and ordered the Shrimp and Grits recommended by the server. The meal was very good. Metro Diner's take on the classic dish was a nice surprise.
    The service was quick and easy. It was a nice touch of the chef to pop by my table and say hello.

    I'll be back for more.

    All i want to know is when are you coming to Broward County???

    Dined here several years ago and to date the best chicken and waffles I've had since the famous Well's restaurant in Harlem, N.Y.!!  A Metro manager told us there were plans to expand southward.

    Don't make me drive up there from Fort Lauderdale!!

    What happened???

    Very popular local diner with a good following.  Watched the crew working behind the counter and they are fun to watch.  My food was 3, but I don't think I had one of their specialty menu items.  

    Parking is extremely tight so plan on parking on the street.

    Three words: Cinnamon. Roll. Pancakes.

    I don't usually splurge on super sugary breakfasts but this am I decided to go for it, and I'm so glad I did. The cinnamon swirls add such a great crunch and texture to pancakes that would normally be pretty soft. Apparently there are Orlando locations of Metro Diner too, and I can't wait to get these pancakes again at a location closer to home.

    My fiancé also got a sausage egg and cheese sandwich which he liked well enough, but the pancakes were definitely the star of this meal, and he kept eating off my plate.

    Quick service. We were in and out within 30 minutes or so.
